Corporate responsibility at Gestamp

In Gestamp, we understand Corporate Responsibility as a strategic function, related to sustainability and competitiveness. Its mission, in the context of the corporate principles that define our corporate culture, is to create long-term value for all stakeholders and for society.

We articulate Corporate Responsibility in eight dimensions, those to which Gestamp is committed and want to make a positive contribution:

  • Economic development and innovation. Offer products of high value in terms of innovation, price, quality, safety and environmental impact.
  • People. Encourage the personal and professional development of the people who are part of Gestamp, thereby prompting the achievement of other business objectives.
  • Health and Safety. Use all the means at our disposal so that the people in our facilities have a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Environment. Minimize the environmental impact of our activities and fulfill the policies and procedures set in the environmental management systems.
  • Society. Contribute to the development of the various communities in which we operate as a result of our activity.
  • Legal compliance. Ensure compliance with Group policies and standards, especially the Code of Conduct, within the legal framework of the countries where we operate and, as a minimum, respect the rights recognized in the Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Global Compact Principles.
  • Communication and dialog with stakeholders. Establish and maintain channels of communication and dialog based on transparency, honesty and commitment with all stakeholders.
  • Accountability. Develop an annual Sustainability Report where we account for the organization's performance in this area.
